Fultz is terrific at creating separation from his man

Elite Mens Dontari Poe Jersey
Not only does he finish at the rim, but he also is above average in the midrange and on floaters from eight to 12 feet out. Finally, Fultz is adept at scoring from deep, hitting 41.3 percent of his 3s. He finished in the 70th percentile in shooting off the dribble, and in the 88th percentile shooting off the catch, showcasing tremendous balance and the ability to get his shot off from basically any spot on the floor.

Along with that elite scoring skill, Fultz is terrific at creating separation from his man, owing to quickness, a tight handle, the aforementioned body control and a creativity that is rarely seen in young players. That creativity also lends itself to his most underrated skill, which is that of his passing. Fultz finished in the top 20 in assist rate this season despite being surrounded by players who shot 28.6 percent in Pac-12 play from 3-point range. He’s a willing creator for others, who finds small creases for dump offs and kick-outs.

Look at how deep Ojeleye sits down in his stance in order to slide for his opponent on the perimeter for multiple steps. He also understands how to use his quickness on the block to front bigger players as well as use his lower body strength to walk skinnier forwards off the block. For a player his age and weight class, he’s extremely mature in terms of his mechanics. When mixed with his athleticism, it presents as an NBA-ready defender. He attributes this to staying mentally focused, while also noting that he understands defense is how he can make his early NBA mark.
Elite Mens Emmanuel Sanders Jersey
Being a rookie, all the teams told me that (defense) is going to get you on the court, Ojeleye said. They have the All-Stars, they have the all-world type guys. So unless you’re a lottery pick, you’re not going to go in and shoot 15, 20 shots a game. Playing defense and keeping it simple on offense, then expanding your game each offseason is what’s going to get you on the court.

Jimmy Graham opens up on long road back to Pro Bowl after near career-ending injury

KISSIMMEE, Fla. For elite players, a Pro Bowl selection can almost be taken for granted.

That isn’t the case for Jimmy Graham especially after the Seahawks tight end was told his NFL career was likely over after suffering a ruptured patella tendon during the 2015 season.

The NL Central is easily the worst division in baseball through the first three months of the season. The first-place Brewers are separated by just four games over last-place Pittsburgh and are the only team in the division over .500. The Cubs (31-32) lost to the Mets Monday and the Cardinals are just a game back of the Cubs for second place in the division. But they’re also only 2 1/2 games behind Milwaukee and a four-game sweep could give them an improbable division lead.

The Twins may have made a splash with the first pick of the 2017 MLB Draft, but Adalberto Mejia was blasted by the Mariners. Mejia gave up eight earned runs off nine hit’s in just 3 2/3 innings in a 14-3 Mariners victory. Mejia’s ERA went from 4.18 to 5.75 with the short outing.

Not quite as bad as Mejia was Orioles starter Wade Miley, who was pulled after 2 1/3 innings in a 10-7 loss to the White Sox. Miley was hit for six runs on six hit’s, including Kevan Smith’s second-inning two-run homer. Miley walked two and did not record a strikeout.

The opposite-field home run from Flowers proved to be the difference for the Braves at Nationals Park. vikings_120

NBA playoffs: Richard Jefferson reveals LeBron James’ poor game was due to illness

LeBron James started Tuesday night’s Game 4 poorly by picking up four quick fouls, but bounced back in the second half to finish with a total of 34 points. His performance was much better than Game 3 when he scored an ugly 11 points, including nothing in the fourth quarter.

Quintin Demps Mens Jersey While there’s no point in looking back now, it’s still interesting to hear Richard Jefferson’s comments after Game 4 about why James played so poorly in the previous game. Speaking to Fox Sports Ohio in his Was It Something I Said segment, the Cavs teammate revealed James was likely dealing with a sickness.

Jefferson mentioned how fellow teammate Deron Williams missed shootaround with an illness, and after that things started clicking in James’ head that he probably had the same bug.
Tobias Enstrom Mens Jersey
I know he won’t talk about it, so I’ll give my big guy a shout. Deron Williams missed shoot around this morning because he had like a little bug, really lethargic, had no energy. And I think that’s what ‘Bron had. And sometimes these little bugs can go around. And [James] was like, dude when Deron didn’t show up to shoot around, it kind of started clicking in his head. Because for him it was like, ‘I don’t know why I was so lethargic, why I had no energy, I had nothing.’ And so, these little things happen. [There] was no panic. Look, he was lethargic, they hit a bunch of tough shots, if Marcus Smart doesn’t go 7-for-10 from three, then we’re not even talking about it.

Tony Parker plans to work ‘like a mad man’ to return to Spurs next season

Many wondered if Tony Parker, at 35 years old, would return next season after suffering a torn left quadriceps in the playoffs this year. Not only does the point guard plan to play next year, but he expects to be stronger than ever.

Parker discussed his future in the NBA with French newspaper L’Equipe. A Reddit user translated the section where he talks about playing again, and here’s what Parker had to say:

Of course, if he didn’t have the health issues, then he likely wouldn’t be a free agent, the executives’ thinking goes.

Miami had about 50 million reasons for him to play and could not get a doctor to clear him,one Western Conference executive said, a reference to Bosh’s contract. Very unlikely the answer will be different at a team with zero million reasons for him to play.

Elite Mens Tracy Mcgrady Jersey Although Bosh continues to express hopefulness about resuming his basketball career, the medical risks of signing him may prove insurmountable.
Elite Mens Andre Hal Jersey
I don’t see how medical people will want to sign off and clear him, another Western executive said. Unless something has changed with his health recently … I don’t know of a team that would want to take that type of a risk. If something were to tragically happen, it’s hard to recover from that. Very unfortunate.

Bosh has missed most of the last two NBA seasons since being diagnosed with blood clots — a potentially fatal condition if, as they did to Bosh in early 2015, the clots move into his lungs and aren’t treated immediately. Moreover, in addition, the blood thinners used as a typical treatment for the clots create another potentially dangerous situation if Bosh were cut or badly bumped, causing bruising, while playing.

Bill Belichick set to move into rarefied coaching air with or without Super Bowl win

Sporting News from time to time ranks the greatest coaches of all time, across all sports. The last time we did was last June, for a tragic reason, Pat Summitt’s death. At that time, we placed Bill Belichick 17th overall, behind three other NFL coaches.

We’re gonna need a new list.

It needs adjustment now, with Belichick preparing for his seventh Super Bowl with the Patriots, and it might need adjustment again if he wins it for the fifth time.

Everybody take a deep breath, because the polarizing coach of the most polarizing franchise of our time is within reach of some iconic names, and is in position to separate himself from them all sometime soon.

it’s always worth repeating that in the 20-odd years between franchises in L.A., the NFL became the American sports worlds Godzilla without the presence of that so-precious market. L.A. got by just fine, too, without a home team.

San Diego felt good, too, because it had it’s team, and by nature did not care a whole lot about L.A.s feelings about the NFL, the Chargers or anything else.

That NFL love overwhelmed everything, though. Now, the league has it’s market, it’s state-of-the-art stadium and two teams to make sure theres rarely, if ever, an open date.

The league also has two more burned fan bases. San Diego will now do one of two things: it’ll hate the NFL for eternity, or it’ll go begging for an existing franchise of it’s own to kidnap, thus burning that fan base.

For all the taxpayers did to fight the Spanosesbid to get them to hand over a stadium, chances are theyll give in some day, build one on their dime and give it to another owner looking to extort their own city.

This is how all the big-time sports work, of course. But the NFL is in a special category, because as owners flexed on cities to get their stadium perks, the league let the specter of Los Angeles loom over it all, year after year.

Antonio Brown supposedly ‘hung his head’ after Steelers TD because he didn’t score

Limited Womens Sammy Sosa Jersey
Steelers receiver Antonio Brown was labeled as selfish by his own head coach after posting locker room footage via Facebook Live, and now he’s being facing a similar claim from the NFL’s own television outlet.

During multiple appearances Monday on NFL Network, reporter Aditi Kinkhabwala noted Brown hung his head after the Steelers’ first touchdown of the game. She claims the receiver was wide open in the back of the end zone, and was upset he didn’t get the ball when DeAngelo Williams scored.

Nelson dropped to the ground on the Packers sideline and remained on the turf for several minutes before being helped onto a cart and taken to the locker room. The Packers initially said Nelson was questionable to return before ruling him out to begin the second half.

Though Hall was not penalized for what was later deemed an illegal hit, he will likely be fined this week.

The Packers had just 7 yards of total offense when Nelson left, but rolled to 406 yards in the rout.

The Packers (11-6) are preparing to be without Nelson, who had 97 catches for 1,257 yards and an NFL-best 14 touchdowns this season, against the top-seeded Cowboys (13-3).

It helps that they got Randall Cobb back from an ankle injury. Cobb then caught five passes for 116 yards and three touchdowns against the Giants. Cobb had seven catches for 53 yards and a score in Green Bay’s 30-16 loss to the Cowboys on Oct. 16.

Thus, it should be no surprise that the club from the Motor City sputtered down the stretch. Detroits dip coincides with quarterback Matt Stafford suffering a finger injury on his throwing hand in Week 13 that ended his MVP-level performances.

Tom Brady joins Instagram!

Authentic Mens Andre Tippett Jersey
Tom Brady has decided to join Instagram. The Patriots’ quarterback announced his decision in a six-minute Facebook Live video on Saturday.

So, I think everybody that enters this building has to be single-minded in their mindset of that’s what we’re here to do. One thing I shared with Jed during the process, I also learned a great lesson from Tony Dungy early in my career, in our very first team meeting we ever had he spoke to that but he also said, If that’s all we’ve done, we haven’t done enough, and he talked about the role we had in our community.
Elite Milwaukee Bucks Jersey
So, I think you can do both. I think they enhance each other. I think that’s going to be at the forefront of the culture. And then I can tell you, I don’t want to make too many promises, the one promise I can make is of any team I’m going to be associated with, you’re going to have competitive players that want to compete, that live and breathe football, that are going to play hard. If they don’t play hard, we’re going to find players that will play hard. They’re going to do things right. We’re not going to be perfect both on and off the field, but we’re going to strive to be that and we’ll be tough and physical and I’m getting excited talking about it right now. That’s the kind of culture we’re going to try to bring.

It was reported that you received a six-year contract. First of all, can you confirm that and also, that’s somewhat unprecedented, how important was it for you to have that kind of stability coming into this situation

Carlos Gonzalez crushes foul ball 480 feet; fan makes one-handed catch

Carlos Gonzalez is known for his ability to smash tape-measure home runs.

The Rockies slugger hit the longest ball of his career Wednesday — and while it went foul, it still inspired awe among everyone at Coors Field.

In the bottom of the fifth, Gonzalez teed off on Indians reliever Nick Goody’s pitch, and sent it 480 feet into the upper deck, beyond the last row of seats.

According to MLB.com, the ball traveled 12 feet further than Cargo’s longest career home run. Remarkably, a fan caught the ball with one hand.

The story didn’t have a happy ending — Gonzalez struck out. But he’ll always have the memory of that majestic blast.

Like most of the players on this list, Garciaparra’s decision to choose college over money worked out well. Instead of turning pro, he chose to play college ball at Georgia Tech, where he teamed with Jason Varitek and Jay Payton, among others, to turn the Yellow Jackets into one of the nation’s best teams. And then Garciaparra’s pro career was pretty solid, too, eh?

Game Mens Charles Tapper Jersey This year, the goal was to find the best players drafted but not signed for each franchise. Things like the Cardinals drafting hometown prep right-hander Max Scherzer in the 43rd round but not signing him, or the Twins drafting college star Jason Varitek in the first round but not ponying up enough money to get a deal done. That kind of thing.

Limited Kids Josh Mauro Jersey First, though, a quick story: Long before Amsinger landed the dream job at MLB Network, he was a college broadcaster at Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. I worked at the local paper, the Suburban Journals of St. Charles, covering high school sports and the burgeoning minor-league scene in that suburban St. Louis county. In a matter of a couple years, the Frontier League baseball team (River City Rascals; a few of my favorite stories from my time on that beat), minor-league hockey club (Missouri River Otters), basketball team (St. Louis Swarm) and even indoor football team (River City Renegades) all sprung up. I was fully in my sports-loving element and worked with like-minded journalists in the sports section.

Wright said he “watched every play” of Super Bowl 51 as the Patriots overcame the 28-3 deficit.

Authentic Patrick Roy Jersey
After 12 NFL seasons without a playoff victory, the 35-year-old left tackle has different priorities at this point than a mere money grab. Whitworth wants to play for a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

That’s why Whitworth sounds inclined to see if a championship-caliber team makes a pitch and exactly how the Bengals are addressing their own roster heading into the 2017 offseason before making any decisions about his playing future.

“I love Cincinnati and want to be there,” Whitworth told co-host Solomon Wilcots and me Monday on SiriusXM NFL Radio. “I’m pretty positive things will work out in a way that I’ll be there in the end. But I want to take advantage of the opportunity of being free and listening to what other people have to say. I think that’s the right way to do it.
Authentic Kirk Gibson Jersey
Wright said he “watched every play” of Super Bowl 51 as the Patriots overcame the 28-3 deficit.

“It was just frustrating that they couldn’t figure out how to at least slow them down,” Wright said. “I knew once Tom had figured out (Atlanta’s defense), there was pretty much no stopping them.

“You’ve got to tip your hat to Tom and the (Patriots’) coaches because they just really, as always, game-planned them real well and made the in-game adjustments to find a way to get the job done.”

Wright believes New England’s experience from previous Super Bowl appearances paid dividends, especially when it came to handling the fallout from an extended 30-minute intermission during Lady Gaga’s halftime show.

What happens to Super Bowl champion hats made for losing team?

They might be the most valuable hats among collectors made in 2017 — and they’ll never see the light of day in the U.S.

New Era Caps has produced 288 lids for both the Falcons and Patriots proclaiming each as Super Bowl 51 champion. Members of the winning team will be given the caps on the NRG Stadium field immediately after the game ends.

As for those hats highlighting the loser …

“They’ll end up being sent to underprivileged countries,” said Dave Aichinger, New Era Caps’ senior manager of team services. “The NFL takes care of all that.”

And it pushed the no-T.O. voting block even deeper into a corner.

They can’t walk this back now. This entire campaign the last two weeks to earnestly defend an indefensible stance has left them no exit point.

The voters who pushed the “bad teammate” theme so hard, who directly debated Owens himself on Twitter, who played the “don’t you know who I am” card when challenged on their credibility, and who then pivoted to the “too many drops” angle when their first argument went up in flames — how do those voters now put Owens in next year?

The Steelers had until Wednesday to make the decision, but got it out of the way early. Negotiations on a long-term deal are expected to continue and terms could be agreed upon before the start of the 2017 season. If he plays in 2017 under the franchise tag, Bell will make just over $12.7 million.

The deadline for the sides to come to a long-term contract is July 15.

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will be the highest-paid running back this year at $14 million.
